Ryco Z372 Spin-On Oil Filter (M26 x 1.5)

The Ryco Z372 is a spin-on oil filter. Ryco designs its filters to meet the vehicle manufacturer's filtration requirements, so they can be used for servicing during the new-car warranty period. This Z372 has an M26 x 1.5 thread, a 70 mm seal and stands 149 mm tall. It includes a pressure relief valve. How often should I change it?

At every oil change, following the interval in your vehicle's service schedule – or sooner for towing, dusty roads or lots of short trips.

Anything to check when fitting?

Lightly oil the new seal, make sure the old seal came off with the old filter, and tighten by hand as the filter instructions say – don't over-tighten.
