Make, model and year, or your rego. If the part doesn't suit, we'll email you before it ships. How fit checks work

The NGK U5065 is an ignition coil manufactured to meet or exceed OE specifications. It converts the battery's low voltage into the high voltage your spark plugs need, with strong, durable spark output and construction that resists heat and vibration. Ignition coils are specific to each engine, so choose by part number – use NGK's part finder or the NGK number from your parts supplier. Add your vehicle when you order and we'll check it against NGK's official application data before dispatch.

FAQs

How do I know this coil fits my car?

Coils that look similar can have different connectors, mounting and internal resistance, so choose by the NGK part number for your engine from NGK's part finder. Add your vehicle when you order – we check it against NGK's official application data before your order is sent.

What are the signs of a failing coil?

Misfires, rough idle, hesitation under load, poorer fuel economy and a flashing or steady engine warning light. A scan tool can show which cylinder is misfiring.

Should I replace all the coils at once?

Not necessarily – one failed coil usually causes a misfire on a single cylinder, and many owners replace coils individually. If your coils are old and one has failed, replacing them as a set can prevent repeat breakdowns. Check the spark plugs at the same time.

Delivery: Dispatched in 1–3 business days; NZ delivery usually 2–7 business days after dispatch. Prices are in NZD and include GST.
